1. How much does it cost to have FunFlips at my event?

2. What if there’s not a licensee near me?
As FunFlips is new to Europe, we are happy to travel to any location in Europe. As more people come on board, you will see them listed in the Locations sections of this web site. You are also welcome to pass our information on to an events company in your area, and we will be happy to talk with them about adding the mobile flipbook studio to their event services.
3. What do you need in order to set up at an event?
We prefer a 3 x 3 meter area, but can be slightly flexible depending on the layout of the venue. We also need one standard wall plug. If your event is outdoors, please contact us for information on the use of a generator and tent.
4. Do you do outdoor events?
Yes we do, however, we need protection from wind and rain. Please let us know if you would like us to be outdoors when you ask for the quote so we can work out the details of the logistics.
5. Can I send you a video clip and have you send it back to me in a flipbook?
Yes, contact us for a quote. Please edit the video to be between 7-12 seconds in length. It is preferred if the video is in .avi or .wmv format. Remember though our charm is making custom flipbooks at events while your guests interact and watch!
6. We are interested in using FunFlips flipbooks as a Save the Date card – can we do this?
Yes, it’s a very creative and unique idea! Pre-made FunFlips flipbooks also make great Thank You cards or can even be placed a few to a table if your budget is tight. At FunFlips, we make these pre-made flipbooks by coming to your preferred location to take the short video clip and then process the order in our studio. The minimum order is 50 flipbooks, and we have limited availability due to our busy event schedule.
7. How many people can I fit in a flipbook?
Let’s just say, as many people as you can fit into our display in under 7 seconds!
8. If we have 4 people in a flipbook, can we all get a copy?
Yes and no. Let me explain how we operate to make it fair for all of your guests. Since it takes us a minute-and-a-half to make each flipbook, if we make 4 flipbooks of the same group of people, the next person has to wait 6 minutes before we can even begin working on his or her flipbook. The result is a long line of people waiting around for their flipbook and not enjoying your party! So, here is our solution, which has worked out very nicely! We make one flipbook for the group and tell them that if they would like a copy of that flipbook to bring it back to us when we aren’t as busy. We can pull up that saved file and make copies as time permits. This is great for our client because we keep the line moving and are still making flipbooks even when we aren’t crowded! Of course, if no one else is in line at the moment, we’ll make copies right away.
9. How many flipbooks can you make in an hour?
We average 40 to 50 flipbooks per hour. This number all depends on the cooperation of the guests and the number of retakes and copies they want us to do.

1. I’d like to start my own company using the FunFlips software and patent pending process. How do I become a licensee?
We would be happy to help you! Just contact John at john@iloveflipbooks.nl . Upon receiving a signed contract and your payment we will send out your licensee start up kit.
2. What do we receive as part of our license? And what do we need to purchase elsewhere?
When you purchase a license you will receive a copy of the FunFlips software and the Manual describing how to operate the license and set up your studio. You will also receive a full support service to help you on your way. You will need to purchase a computer, printer, cutter, heavy duty stapler and everything else needed to make flipbooks at one location. If you would like to run more than one setup at an event, you will need to purchase another “event kit.” We also offer a ‘turn key’ solution; we will get the studio components together for you allowing you to operate straight out of the box. We can also be adaptive to your requirements, implementing custom made solutions to meet your demands.
3. Why did we decide to license instead of sell franchises?
Simply put, our aim is to give you the tools and our expertise to operate your own mobile flipbook studio where we are not looking over your shoulder and micro –managing your business. There is less paperwork, and you can get started much quicker
4. Do we charge a commission on sales, like a franchise
To operate the software you will need a ‘dongle’ key. These are supplied by us at a cost determined by your agreement and are loaded with a set amount of prints.
5. Do we have to purchase anything else?
You will need to purchase your consumables to make the actual flip book. The components are: flip book cover, paper, toner & staples. (these can all be purchased from us).
